Alec A. Gizzi
At Logisyn, Alec leverages his extensive experience in the logistics industry and M&A knowledge to position clients for optimal success. He brings an entrepreneurial spirit and deep expertise in logistics, supply chain optimization, and transportation management, earning him a reputation as a trusted leader in his field. In addition to his work in logistics, Alec has a wealth of expertise in mergers and acquisitions, having guided numerous business owners through the process of buying and selling companies.
Alec began his career in 1986 when he co-founded JBS Logistics & Warehousing, Inc. What started as a two-person operation in Illinois quickly grew into a strong business with 120 employees and $40 million in revenue. Under Alec’s leadership, JBS Logistics became a recognized leader in 3PL services. His success story includes navigating the acquisition of other small businesses, expanding JBS’s market share, and ultimately selling the company to Koch Logistics in 2016.
Throughout his career, Alec has played an integral role in the development and growth of the logistics sector. He served as the Chairman of the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) Board of Directors in 2011 and served on the Executive Committee from 2003 to 2015.
Alec’s educational experience includes a BA in Finance and an MBA from Lewis University. Outside of his professional endeavors, Alec is a devoted family man. He and his wife have four adult children and four grandchildren. Alec enjoys spending his free time golfing, boating, fishing, and reading.
