Olivier Fougues
Associate: Europe
Olivier is focused on developing relationships and executing projects in the European market. He specializes in niche markets across the freight forwarding space, including trade fairs, fine art, and other high-value goods. Prior to joining Logisyn, Olivier founded and ran his own video production company in Paris for 8 years. His team produced hundreds of projects for major companies in a variety of sectors.
Having always been attracted to entrepreneurship, he joined France's largest association of entrepreneurs, the CJD, before becoming president of one of its regional branches around Paris. At the CJD, he has conducted experiments, developed approaches, and questioned ways of acting to build more responsible, sustainable, and enjoyable businesses. During its mandate, he has organized events to inspire, bringing in politicians, philosophers, entrepreneurs, investors, senior executives, military, and more… He loves developing new projects and has been involved on the board of three start-ups. He is passionate about people and how collective intelligence can serve a goal.
Olivier grew up in France, near Paris. He did a two-year preparatory course at a military school and has a degree in economics. He now lives with his partner in the Alps, not far from Geneva. He has a passion for the outdoors and mountain sports, particularly ski touring and hiking. He plays tennis and enjoys all racket sports. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling in his campervan, woodcrafting, and, most of all, taking care of donkeys.
